Tomorrow evening, Tuesday January 11th, I’m moderating what promises to be a fascinating discussion about the next steps after COP26.
Hosted jointly by the Frontline Club, the Conduit Club and Clear Public Space, the overarching theme is, “Is radical action required?”
We brought together many of the same speakers just ahead of the Glasgow conference to hear about their expectations – now we’ll take stock and ask them to look ahead.
Here they are:
Professor Paul Ekins OBE, an academic in the field of sustainable economics, currently co-director of the UK Energy Research Centre.
Dr. Shailaja Fennell, Department of Land Economy, University of Cambridge.
Patrick Holden, founding director of the Sustainable Food Trust.
Farhana Yamin, environmental lawyer, climate change and development policy expert.
Jeevan Vasagar, Environment Editor, The Bureau of Investigative Journalism.
Will Webster, Energy Policy Manager of Oil and Gas UK.
